Erika Haley Rothman

I am a recent graduate from Flagler College. My major at Flagler College is Strategic Communication with a minor in Journalism and Production. My Bachelor’s degree in Communication has prepared me to work for a Public Relations firm. I have learned all the strategies from my degree and the internship I acquired in college to become a diligent worker in this industry. To better your understanding, my internship was for a company called Mermaid Life. Mermaid Life is a life style brand for women, and I curated all the social media for the company on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The content on social media was a success for the brand, based on targeting a specific market and maintaining brand loyalty. Several classes I have taken for my major have helped my career in the Public Relation world such as digital media, social media, case analysis and campaigns, but the list does not stop there. I also have a great understanding for editing in Avid Media Composer as well as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop which coincides with the digital media world. This portfolio will further your understanding as to what type of work I am capable of doing.
